A clear agreement, from the start.
Project scope, payments, revisions, ownership and handover.
Scope and approval
Submitting a website request is not approval and does not make a deposit payable. HOFza reviews your requirements and agrees the package, deliverables, scope, target dates and terms in a quotation before work begins. Requests outside standard inclusions require a separate quotation.
Development and payment
Standard packages are Launch R1,000, Growth R2,000 and Elite R3,000. A 50% deposit is payable after approval and before development; the remaining 50% is due on completion before the agreed launch or final handover. Hosting is a separate R200 yearly fee, payable as soon as the website is live. Changes after launch are charged at R100 per update. EFT receipts are verified manually by HOFza, not by proof upload.
Included revisions
Launch includes one revision round, Growth two and Elite three. Revisions are consolidated feedback within the approved scope. New features, extensive content changes and redesigns are additional work requiring an agreed quotation.
Third-party services
Domain registration, renewals, premium plugins, paid email, external subscriptions, payment gateway costs and WhatsApp API usage are excluded unless expressly included. Eligibility, approvals and usage costs apply to provider services. Complex custom software and native applications are not implied by Elite.
Ownership and handover
The approved agreement specifies ownership, deliverable files, source code where included, administrator access, domain ownership and third-party licences. Handover occurs after the agreed final payment and completion milestones. Those details must be confirmed before payment.
Cancellation and statutory rights
Cancellation, completed work, external costs and refund eligibility are governed by the final approved policy. Nothing in these terms removes rights that applicable South African law does not permit a business to waive. Legal review is required before these draft terms are adopted.
